I joined the Board in June 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic – one of the weirdest times I can remember – but also perhaps one of the times when Fife Women’s Aid has been needed most. Awareness of this is what spurred me on to get up and do something about domestic abuse.

I’ve done lots of different things in my career, ranging from Primary Education Officer at the Design Council Scotland, to Head of Publishing at Learning and Teaching Scotland, to freelance copywriter, working for organisations such as Scottish Opera, Royal Highland Education Trust and SQA.

I live and work in St Andrews as a Publications Officer for the University, where I also studied Medieval History and graduated many moons ago!

I have two daughters and my partner has two sons.

I am looking forward to making a contribution to the long-term strategy and development of Fife Women’s Aid.
