Trustees support the strategic direction of the organisation and oversee governance. The Board meets every 6 weeks on a Wednesday night for approximately 2 hours in our office in Glenrothes. Trustees also participate in sub group meetings in between Board meetings.
Fife Women’s Aid trustees bring their expertise to the Board in particular areas of finance, fundraising, strategic development, policy work, marketing, charity and family law, although any relevant skills are welcome.
The application process involves completion of an application form, interview, references and membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. At the moment we are not actively recruiting for trustees, however, our website will be updated when this changes.
