Bee is a survivor of domestic abuse and in recent years has become an advocate for raising awareness about what abuse is and the impact it can have on survivors and their families, as well as the long and sometimes complicated journey towards recovery.
Bee has used creative writing as part of her own recovery and her work was featured in the Uncovered Voices anthology in 2018. She has also written The Journey Home, a play about domestic abuse.
Bee uses her story of recovery from domestic abuse to inspire hope in others.
