I am delighted to have become a trustee of Fife Woman’s Aid in February 2019.

I have worked in the voluntary sector for over 30 years, I have also volunteered in both raising funds and as a trustee and Chair of an Edinburgh based sexual health and well- being charity based in the South of Edinburgh.

My career has been mainly around working for disability charities but I was also employed by NSPCC/ChildLine in Scotland. I have worked both as a sole fundraiser as well as managing large teams and working at Director level as part of senior management teams.

I currently work for seescape (formerly Fife Society for the Blind) based in Kirkcaldy as part of the senior management team as well as the Fundraising manager and line manage the Community Engagement Coordinator who is responsible for our befriending service and social groups, currently there are 74 volunteers.

On a personal level I live in Dunfermline with my husband, we have a grown up family of 2 children and 2 step children each and 2 grandchildren. I recently introduced a new love into my life when I got 2 miniature dachshund puppies, Hamish and Dougal, who are little heart breakers!
