I joined the board as a trustee in July 2020. I have supported Fife Woman’s Aid in small ways over the last 6 years but always felt I could give more to the organisation.
I was a victim of domestic abuse in 2014 and received a life changing amount of help from Fife Woman’s Aid. Without the support and knowledge I was given during that time, I would be in a very different place today.
I currently work at the University of St Andrews within the Commercial team. I love my job and the people I get the opportunity to meet and work with. I am delighted to now be in a job that allows a work life balance and to be supported by my partner, family and friends that allows me to give back to the organisation that turned my life around.
I am a Fifer born and bred and cannot wait to give more back to my community.
I look forward to enhancing and progressing the incredibly important work carried out by Fife Woman’s Aid.
