A qualified teacher and headteacher, I am experienced in safeguarding, inclusion, behaviour, learning difficulties, trauma, attachment, emotional health and wellbeing, Dyadic Development Practice, nurture and outdoor learning. I’ve worked in education leadership roles in young offenders’ institutions, residential schools for children with emotional, social and mental health needs, schools for children with learning difficulties, mainstream schools and with learning support teams.

I have worked with children of all ages and I have worked with and provided support for their families.

I am keen to work with and for services which support women. I believe strongly that women’s voices should be heard, and that support and encouragement should be given by women and for women to empower each other. I am willing to listen, to grow and to learn in order to promote and fulfil the values and objectives of Fife Women’s Aid.
